Key Note - Even Tronstad Sagebakken
State Secretary for the Minister of Fisheries and the Sea - Norway
Even T. Sagebakken holds a bachelor's degree as a general teacher with specialist training on children with special needs, as well as an Executive Master of Management with a specialization in school management at BI. He has professional experience from teaching positions, including leading roles as principal, at primary and secondary school level.
Norwegian policies for green transition in shipping
Mr. Sagebakken’s political background includes leading roles for the Norwegian Labour Party at local and regional level in the Agder County in Norway, and is currently deputy leader of the Agder Labour Party and a member of the National Executive Comittee of the Norwegian Labour Party.
Even T. Sagebakken was appointed on November 17, 2023 as state secretary for the Minister for Oceans and Fisheries, Cecilie T. Myrseth (AP).
His key note speech will focus on green maritime policies, how maritime battery technology contributes to low and zero emission shipping, as well as how the Norwegian industry can lead the way in decarbonization of the maritime sector
