The MBF is partnering with the Decarbonizing the Future (DTF) conference, taking place on 13 and 14 October 2026 in Malta. DTF is where shore power meets the energy systems required to make maritime electrification work at scale. Over two days, 1,500+ delegates from 30+ countries convene at the Valletta Gateway Terminal in Malta to deploy, stabilize, scale, integrate, finance, and operate the infrastructure that powers tomorrow’s ports. MBF sees the discussion around energy systems in ports as important for the electrification of ships, and therefore has decided to collaborate with this event.
