Charging
There currently are no standards for charging battery powered ships. The charging working group is aimed at investigating the maritime charging landscape and identify the different charging standards that could benefit the acceleration of maritime battery installations.
Kick Off Meeting
We kicked-off this working group with a presentation by Paxos on their Cool-Load MegaWatt Charging technology. This charging system can charge with 3 to 12 MW and promises a good scalability for even higher demanding loads in the future.
