2025 Year in Review

In 2025 we have welcomed 11 new members to the MBF: The Switch, GC Rieber Shipping, Exponent, Astrolkwx, Borgwarner, RINA, Stillstrom, Epropulsion, Asahi Tanker, UL Research Institutes, and Terma.

The MBF board also changed in 2025. Chair of the board, Ellen Sofie Ottesen from Eddawind has fully served her two years as chair and her position has been filled by Sonja Hansen from Corvus Energy. Naomi Andersson from Stena Teknik has joined as the newest board member.

MBF strives to be the leading source for knowledge, information, networking, advocacy, and collaboration across the marine electrification space. We place great importance on ensuring our community recognizes and benefits from the full value of membership. This report highlights the initiatives and impact of MBF in championing and supporting our members.
