Equinor together with BP won a large offshore wind contract for New York state.

Our valued member Equinor has been successful in the Wind market. Together with their strategic partner BP, have they been awarded as the winner of New York state's second wind solicitation. Equinor has been awarded all together in this region following fields: Empire Wind 1, Empire Wind 2, Beacon 1.

We believe, with the increased interest and ongoing projects for offshore charging and storage of energy offshore, that this will lead to increased uptake of batteries. We trust that Equinor will find it useful with batteries for all service vessels for the wind parks.
