The Battery Safety JIP is a collaboration between MBF members to increase the general knowledge regarding the safety of maritime batteries, as well as batteries in a maritime environment.

The next meeting will be on Friday May 20th at 3pm (CET)

A Maritime Battery Incident Database is being created, if you have information about an incident with batteries on board of a ship, please contact director@maritimebatteryforum.com

The project is now focussing on two different main topics, safe integration of batteries on board of ships, and emergency response of battery related incidents on board of ships.
